If i remember right, cottage owners are responsible for clearing drainage ditch's and such. Any work fromParks will involve a cost on your fee's.

Has anyone contacted Conservation about the possibility of improving the drainage in some areas.  I know they have their hands full these days.

We have no drainage ditch in front of our property, and it is becoming more apparent with the excessive rain this year that maybe there should be a drainage ditch that links to the main one, and a culvert under our driveway.

Everytime it rains heavily we are having alot of water standing in the front yard area that has no where to go unless we dig a LONG trench to somewhere on the property boundaries which is very difficult with the tree roots etc.  I it has come to our attention that it is draining from higher areas like the main road and a neighboring property that is higher.
