WALKATHON FUNDRAISING EVENT

Sunday, August 8^th

GOAL: To raise $50,000 in Grindstone, Victoria Beach, and Matlock Walkathon

~~INFORMATION FOR GRINDSTONE WALKERS~~

• No cost to participate – but you must collect pledges
  get sponsors to give you money to walk

• Pledge forms at Grindstone Store or download at http://www.walkforwater.ca 
• Turn in pledge forms & money on Aug. 8^th Black's Point parking lot:  9:15 – 9:55 am
• Departure 10 a.m. from Black's Point parking lot
• Grindstone Walkathon Route:  From parking lot, everyone will walk together around Black's Point Rd loop, around Balsam loop, over to Birch then down Spruce, and back to the parking lot
• Refreshments, free T-shirts, and prize draws at Black's Point parking lot following our walk

 

Lake Winnipeg Foundation Inc. is a registered Canadian charity

An official donation receipt for income tax purposes will be issued for contributions of $10 or more

 

Walk for Water proceeds are used by LWF to support Lake Winnipeg community projects and programs, research, education and awareness of Lake Winnipeg, its wetlands, and watershed issues.
