Volunteers required for the board as three board members have decided to leave the board between now and the AGM.

Treasurers Position:  Howard Thiesen has been Treasurer of the GCOA since July 2003.  After 7 years he has decided to step aside and let someone else get involved with the Grindstone Community.  Howard would like to find a replacement as soon as possible so he can work with them from now through to the next AGM.  If you are interested in helping out and have some accounting/bookkeeping background please consider volunteering.   We are pleased that he has agreed to stay on to help out a new volunteer.

 Bob Ralke, started as a Board Member in the spring of 2005 and became Chair in June 2007.   Bob has been stretched thin with other interests that take him out of town often and with a job that requires him to be out of province frequently as well.  With Bob leaving the board in March we will need a couple more volunteers to sit on the board.
