Welcome to the Grindstone website. Our cottage community is inviting you to visit us this Manitoba Homecoming 2010. Our big celebration will be Grindstone Days. 2010 will be better than ever! We’re also planning two “recycle weekends” where people put useful objects at the end of their driveways for friends and neighbours to take for free!
We are hoping to have our cycling/walking trails marked this spring thanks to our Trails Committee.
We also are going to have some additional geo-caching sites ready to be discovered hopefully by the May long weekend (weather permitting). If Geo Caching is new to you see the June Gazette for more information.
Drive to the end of our road and check out the new sewage lagoon and commodity exchange (dump).
We have a new section in the Forum Area called “News From Our Advertisers”. We are hoping that our advertisers will have some interesting things to advise us about. Perhaps new business hours, weekly specials, new products. It is another way we can help our advertisers and our cottagers up-to-date on what is happening in Grindstone, Riverton, Arborg and surrounding areas.
