Grindstone Hiking Trails?

Are there any hiking trails on the Grindstone side of the park? Heading up May long to see how the progress is going with my lot clearing. Going to camp out there. Would be nice to find a few trails to explore.

There is a circular walking trail at Blacks Point, which starts at the beach parking lot. It loops around, skirting the back of the store and exits on Blacks Point Road.

Opposite, on the NW side of Blacks Point road, is the Wolf Kill trail. Both trails have been upgraded by Parks in 2005 and are intended ONLY for walkers and cyclists. The Wolf Kill trail winds through the trees and exits close to the Whitesands Road.

The Willow trail starts at the north end of the Whitesands development and follows the lake till it reaches the South Beach Development.

In addition short linking trails join the other developments all the way to North Cliffs and the harbor. Bicycles are allowed on these trails, though mountain bikes are preferable, because of the nature of the terrain.

Thanks for answering. I am familiar with all those trails and have walked on them all except for the Wolf Kill Trail. I was looking for something a little more backcountryish.

Maybe I can get together with Manitoba Conservation and talk about developing some hiking trails with backcountry campsites. I plan on retiring early at 50. I will be moving to Grindstone permanently, I will need something to do. lol

Our family found that the best way to find the trails and discover some amazing locations in Grindstone is GEOCACHING! We just found a new trail this week with an amazing view as the prize! Geocaching was the best thing we did, we are hoping there are more hidden gems that we don't know about!!
