Immediate plans:

• Erecting a new “Welcome to Grindstone Park” sign
• Providing park benches at the two public beach areas
• Planting shade trees at Little Grindstone beach
• Enhancing the snowmobile trails around the peninsula, including a warm up hut.
• Clearing a trail from Black’s Point to the gravel pit on the west side of the road for use by motorized vehicles
• Building a walking trail from the Marina, to the picnic area washrooms and through to Little Grindstone Beach
• Purchasing a small piece of play equipment for Black’s Point Beach

Long term Plans:

• The establishment of a managed wetland to enhance our sewage lagoon
